Dear RW Judges & Officials,
Happy Holidays and thank you for applying to serve on one of the USATF National Race Walk crews. These selections have been approved by the National Officials Committee and the final document is attached for your reference. There were many qualified applicants for each of the eight RW National events and we are pleased to announce that over 78% of applicants received at least one assignment. The committee considered travel budget, regional locations and gender balance, as well as USATF National and World Athletic event judging requirements, to assign crews that will minimize travel costs while exceeding all USATF and WA rules.
Please review the assignments and contact me (racewalkofficials@gmail.com) ASAP if your availability has changed and you are no longer able to serve at the selected event. Note that some event locations have not yet been decided and there may be the need to reassign roles once locations are announced and crew availability confirmed. In the event that there are any takebacks, you will all be considered and may be contacted to reconfirm availability should you be selected as a potential alternate.
