Nick Christie and Lauren Harris lapped their respective fields in the 5000m Race Walk at the USATF Indoor Championships at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY.
Christie’s time of 19:13.37 bests the record of Tim Seaman (19:15.88) from 2006, and Harris’ time of 22:14.69 surpassed the record of Miranda Melville (22:23.91) from 2018.
