Final athlete spots were announced today for Team USA going to the World Race Walking Team Championships in Brasilia, Brazil on April 12. Team spots were decided by competition in the Marathon held on January 11 in Santee, CA and the Half Marathon & U20 10 km on March 8 in Gainesville, FL. Athletes earning a spot had to meet strict qualifying standards in addition to having top finishing spots in the respective races.
