Ashlyn Poulin (#393- Southeastern Univ, FL) and Becca Spohn (#392- Rio Grande Univ, OH) represented Team USA in the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru. The competition is for college and university students in the nations of the Americas in preparation for the World Championships in 2027 and 2029. The 2029 Worlds will be held in North Carolina.
Competing over 10000m, Ashlyn overcame the field and food poisoning to take the win and gold medal in 56:53.26. Becca followed up in 3rd for the bronze medal in 1:03:22.29.
